Get ready for an action-packed challenge that’s all about teamwork, communication, and strategy!
In this version of paintball, you’ll be using pump-action paintball markers — meaning every shot counts. You’ll need to think carefully, move smartly, and work as a team to outplay your opponents.
Paintball is a high-energy, outdoor activity that encourages planning, leadership, and fair play. Whether you’re sneaking through obstacles, protecting your teammates, or going on the attack, safety and respect come first. The aim is to have fun while keeping everyone safe.
BEFORE THE GAME
Masks On: Paintball masks must be worn at all times within the play zone — no exceptions.
Barrel Plugs: Keep barrel plugs or covers on your marker until the referee declares the field live.
No Blind Firing: Always see what you’re aiming at before pulling the trigger.
Minimum Range: Do not shoot at anyone closer than 5 metres. Call “SURRENDER” if within close range
No Physical Contact: No pushing, tackling, or rough play.
Cease Fire Calls: If anyone yells “STOP GAME,” “CEASE FIRE,” or blows the whistle, stop shooting immediately.
Split players evenly into two teams.
Each team starts at their designated base.
A referee or leader supervises play and enforces safety.
The game begins on the referee’s whistle.
A flag is placed in the centre of the field.
Teams race to grab it and return it to their base without being hit.
If a player is shot while carrying the flag they must drop it to the ground
A player is “out” when hit by a paintball that breaks and leaves a mark on clothing or gear – including the paintball marker.
When hit, the player must raise their hand, call “OUT,” and return to their home base to reset.
The round ends when the opponents flag has been captured and carried back to the teams base
Classic elimination format.
Once hit, players are out for the round.
The last team with players remaining wins.
Best for quick, competitive matches.
Each team chooses one player as the VIP.
The VIP’s goal is to cross from one side of the field to the other.
The opposing team must try to hit the VIP.
Rotate VIPs each round so everyone gets a turn.
Start with two even teams.
When a player is hit, they swap sides and join the team that shot them.
The round continues until everyone is on one team or time runs out.
Great for fast-paced, chaotic fun where strategy changes constantly!
