Bubble Soccer is all about fun, laughter, and teamwork!
The aim of the game is to score goals while wearing inflatable bubbles that cover your upper body — bumping, rolling, and bouncing are all part of the action!
Before play begins, all participants must follow these safety guidelines:
Gear Check
Ensure your bubble suit is fully inflated and secure before entering the field. It should feel like your tigh muscle when it’s relaxed – a little squishy
Straps should be adjusted so they a loose fitting but comfortably. You should be able to get out of them easily if you get stuck, but they should hold you if you go upside down. They should also hold your head off of the ground when inverted.
Make sure you remove all sharp objects (keys, jewelry, belts, glasses, watches, phones, pens, etc.).
Wear closed-toe shoes (no boots or cleats).
Tie long hair back and empty pockets.
If your head sticks out above the bubble you are too tall to play – It could result in a serious neck injury if you proceed.
No hitting or tackling players who are on the ground.
Keep your head inside the bubble at all times.
Do not lift or jump onto another player.
No roughhousing or aggressive hits.
Stop immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or your bubble deflates.
Play with 4–6 players per team (adjust for group size and space).
Games are typically 2 halves of 5 minutes with a short break.
Substitutions can be made between halves.
Kick-Off
The ball is placed in the center.
Teams start behind their goal lines and run in at the whistle!
Scoring
A goal is scored when the ball crosses the opponent’s goal line.
After each goal, play restarts from the center.
Boundaries
If the ball leaves the field, the referee places it back in play.
Players must stay within the marked field.
Fair Play
No holding, climbing, or pulling other players’ bubbles.
No kicking the ball while another player is on the ground.
Bumping is part of the fun — but keep it safe and friendly!
Instead of scoring goals, players try to bump others over.
If you fall, you’re “out” until the next round.
Last player standing wins!
Set up cones or small zones around the field.
Teams race to capture as many zones as possible by standing (or rolling) in them for 5 seconds.
Great for strategy and teamwork without focusing on scoring goals.
Keep games short — bubbles get hot and tiring!
Encourage lots of water breaks.
Focus on fun and laughter rather than competition.
Always check bubbles and straps between rounds.
