Venture experience starts in Wellington on the 30th December 2025. Registration for all the expeditions are being held at Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre from 9am and are as easy as 1, 2, 3…
Venture registration will be on level one of the Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre. This is accessed via the escalators on the ground floor. AdVenture guides will be located on the Ground floor and Level One to assist with the process.
Arrival
The launch site will be open from 9am for registrations. Please make sure you plan to arrive by 12 midday to Wellington.
On Foot or drop off
Entrances to Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre are on Cable Street or Wakefield Street. Various public parking locations are nearby and there is a vehicle Drop Off area accessible from Wakefield Street.
By Plane
There will be AdVenture Guides wearing High Vis pink waiting in the arrival area of Wellington Airport. Venturers should locate their AdVenture Guides after disembarking the plane, and will then be directed to shuttle busses for the Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre.
By Train
Trains arrive at Wellington Station, the station is approx 1.5km from the Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre and is an approximately 20 minute walk.
There will be AdVenture Guides in High Vis pink waiting in the arrival area at the ferry terminals in Wellington. Venturers should locate their AdVenture Guides when they disembark from the Ferry. They will then be directed to shuttles for the Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Level one of the Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre is the nerve centre for Phase one expeditions.
This AdVenture begins with registration, bag drop and first of many “scan-ins” for the event.
Level one is accessed by the Escalators, or if you have restricted mobility, via the lifts located on the the ground floor.
Registration
Registration is a simple 3 step process.
Food
Food will be available for sale from the Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre Catering team, in the foyer on Level 2. There will also be limited additional gluten free and vegan dishes available on the day and will need to be specifically requested at that time.
FOOD AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE –
Burrito Wrap – $12
Charred Chipotle Beef, Lettuce and shredded slaw, on grilled tortilla
Vegetarian Burrito Wrap (v) – $11
Pulled Jackfruit Burrito, Lettuce and shredded slaw, on grilled tortilla
Fish and Chips – $12
Market fish goujons, crispy fries, remoulade
Chicken Nuggest and Chips – $12
Agria Fries and tomato sauce (v, gf) – $8
If you have dietary needs not catered for by the Catering Team you will be able to head downstairs to the Zephyr Cafe.
If you rather, you can bring a home made packed lunch.
Commercially prepared meals ( i.e: Macdonald’s, Subway, etc) cannot be brought into the Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre.
