Venture experience starts in Wellington on the 30th December 2025. Registration for all the expeditions are being held at Tākina Events Centre from 9am and are as easy as 1, 2, 3…
Venture registration will be on level one of the Tākina Event centre. This is accessed via the escalators on the ground floor. Venture hosts will be located on the Ground floor and Level One to assist with the process.

Drop Off area is accessible on Wakefield Street. Various public parking locations are nearby.
There will be a Scouts Venture help point in the arrival area of Wellington Airport. Venturers should meet the Venture hosts here and will be directed to shuttle busses to the Tākina Events Centre.
There will be a Scouts Venture help point outside the arrival area at the ferry terminal in Wellington. Venturers should meet the Venture hosts here and will be given instructions to the Tākina Events Centre.
Level one of the Tākina Event Centre is the nerve centre for Phase one expeditions.
This AdVenture begins with registration, bag drop and first of many “scan-ins” for the event.
Level one is accessed by the Escalators, or if you have restricted mobility, via the lifts located on the the ground floor.
Registration is a simple 3 step process.
1. Check in at the Registration Desks on Level One
2. Drop Luggage in defined areas. There are separate locations for Phase 1 and Phase 2. Phase 2 luaggage will be taken directly to Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre.
3) Scan-in at escalators and proceed to Level 2
Also zephyr cafe is on the ground floor – any venturers with vegan or allergy requirements can purchase food downstairs.
