Host Core’s Amazing Race is rolling out across phase 2.
You’ll face challenges that test your speed, your teamwork, your creativity, and maybe even your sanity.
Clues to crack, puzzles to solve, tasks to conquer — all while racing against everyone else chasing the top spot.
Think you’ve got what it takes?
Only one team can claim victory… who will come out on top?
Strap in. Stay sharp. And may the best racers win.
Don’t forget to log them so your team gets the credit. Every challenge counts toward your overall Amazing Race score — and we don’t want your hard-earned points going missing!
Write a Venture-themed limerick inspired by Brookfield, camp life, or your experiences so far. Keep it fun, clever, and (mostly) appropriate. Bonus points will be awarded to the Host Team’s favourite entries.
Recreate a famous album cover using your team as the stars. Try to match the pose, composition, and vibe as closely as possible – or put a clever spin on it. Submit the final photo and let us see how iconic you can be.
Make a positive difference in our community, whether that’s Brookfield, Wellington, or beyond.
Choose something that genuinely helps others or improves the environment, and aim for an impact that lasts beyond today.

Take a few minutes to reflect on Phase 1. Complete the survey in the submission form and let us know what worked, what didn’t, and what you enjoyed most. Your feedback helps shape the adventure.
Lights, camera, action! Reenact a famous movie scene with your team. You can recreate it shot-for-shot or add your own creative twist. Submit a photo or short video. Extra points for recognisability, effort, and over-the-top acting.
Bring out your inner artist and create a piece of art by recording your location as you walk around. Use Strava or a similar app to record and upload a screenshot of your activity. Search online for some inspiration.
Create a chant that represents your team’s spirit, name, and personality. It should be loud, memorable, and easy to perform together. Once perfected, record or perform it for the Host Team to earn points. Extra points for creativity, humour, and crowd-hype potential!
Every great team needs a mascot. Find, make, or create something that represents your team – without spending any money.
Whether it’s crafted, found, or hilariously improvised, submit a photo of your mascot and explain how it represents your team.
Wake up early and capture the moment! Take a photo of the sunrise and submit it as proof. Bonus points if the whole team is up and included — dedication pays off.
Tackle the Putt-Pocalypse mini-golf course on site.
Once you finish, make sure to get the password so you can claim your hard-earned points.

Take a break from the action and relax with a puzzle in the Chill Zone. When you’re ready to dive back into the adventure, send through a picture of your completed masterpiece.

Explore the site and earn points along the way! The Site Quiz in the submission form will take you all around Brookfield. How well do you really know the site?
Spell out “AdVenture” using objects you find around the site. Each letter should be made from a different item if possible (e.g. leafs for “A”, sticks for “T”). Submit one clear photo. Bonus points for creativity and the number of unique objects used.
Love is in the air! Find a unique location on site and record two team members getting “married” in a short, fun ceremony.

At Days Bay, unleash your inner architect by creating the most impressive sand art you can dream up!
Once you have completed your masterpiece, send a picture in to be judged by the Host Team.
Extra points will be awarded for detail, originality, and extravagance, so get creative!
Try out some of the water activities at Days Bay! Why not try paddle boarding? Push your comfort zone and have some fun. Take a photo of your team completing an activity.
Take on the frisbee golf course at the School Hub. Complete the course and prove you did it by submitting a photo or score evidence. Accuracy, teamwork, and patience will be key!
Visit the Maker’s Den at the School Hub and design a poster that represents your team’s experience at AdVenture. This could include anything that you feel represents your time over both phase 1 and 2. Get as creative as you like – then submit a photo of your finished poster.
Test your lateral thinking with the Venture-themed riddles in the submission form. Each one will push you to think outside the box. Think your brain is up for the challenge?
Head into town and hit the op shops to create a team costume that brings your team name to life. Costumes should be made from up-cycled or second-hand items wherever possible. Points will be awarded for creativity, sustainability, and how well the costume represents your team’s identity.
